One of the great things about being a member of a photographic club is that you are never too far away from being inspired by someone. Every week I seem to come away from our meet ups with new ideas and as I travel home, I come up with plans for creating new images or projects.
The idea of creating a project around an interest is something that photographers will often do to learn more about their subjects, get them out with their cameras regularly with a purpose and a focus that is sometimes hard to find if we just head out with no plan. At the start of the year, this is a good time to think about what we are going to try and work on this year, perhaps building on the images we created last year.
The images presented here reflect the varied interests of our members and are all based around the theme of water. Each image sparks some inspiration and could be a good starting point for a personal project of our own.
Irvine Camera Club is a community based photographic club. There is something for everyone, so if you are interested in photography and would like to come along, you would be made to feel very welcome.
We meet on Tuesdays starting at 7.30 at Irvine Community Sports Club, Waterside, Marress Roundabout, Irvine KA12 8DL
