From everyone at Irvine Camera Club, we hope you all had a very Happy Christmas.  As is often the case, the passage of time is on my mind at this time of year and how we capture this in a single photograph is always an interesting discussion to have with photographers.  Shutter speed is the obvious place to go on your camera as you can create long exposures to show movement, but there are other ways as well depending on what you are trying to capture.

This week I have put together a selection of images from our club members that show how they have found different ways to deal with time and movement in their work.

If you would like to come and see what we are up to this week, we meet on Tuesdays starting at 7.30 at Irvine Community Sports Club, Waterside, Marress Roundabout, Irvine KA12 8DL
