With this summer’s rather unpredictable weather, our photowalk to Saltcoats this year was spread over a number of evenings, culminating a large turnout on the 23rd July. On a nice evening Saltcoats has much to offer photographically. Our members were challenged to take photos of movement, urban landscape and textures. The setting sun provides great light for photography, adding a warm glow and interesting shadows to the images. From street photography of local characters, happy to pose or show off for the camera, to the picturesque views out across the Clyde estuary, there really is something for everyone. I hope you enjoy this small but varied selection of photos made by our keen photographers.
